Their work is distinguished by its distinctive, recognisable typography and design. Photography is another of the agency's specialities. As an extension of this, in 2002 Henrik Barends and Anneke Pijnappel began Gallery Baudelaire, a gallery for international contemporary art photography. Since 1986 still another of their activities has been Uitgeverij Voetnoot (Voetnoot-publishers), issuing books in the field of photography, literary translations, poetry, design and the visual arts.<br>
